“ Historic location for the "Farinata" (a typical Ligurian dish made with chickpea flour cooked in an old wood-burning oven). The location smells of local history, even if in some places I found it not very clean (perhaps it just happened on this day). We can choose between sitting inside or outside. We chose to savor the local food among the caruggi (narrow Ligurian alleys). The mise en place is simple with a paper placemat. A dish that aroused my interest was the "caponata" made with octopus, tuna, and various vegetables... in one word: excellent! To satisfy the greedy side we obviously chose to taste the farinata (cooked in a wood-burning oven it turned out to be exceptional!). Only question mark: "why won't they serve coffee?" In any case we had fun and we are satisfied. Prices a little high, but worth it. ”

Once inside, you will quickly notice that this is where the locals eat. Most ordered the farinata as the first course. The pasta and sardines were my favorite. ”
